Certain family members being unsupportive since being pregnant

Has or is anyone ever experienced certain family members becoming very distant and unsupportive of there pregnancy?

I'm 27 weeks and my mother has shown no interest I'm my pregnant at all she never asks if I'm ok or if the baby is ok never asks me how I'm doing or anything like that

She only ever talks about herself 😔
I just thought that my own mother would care more considering this is my first but no....
My MIL has been way more supportive than my OWN mother I'm just so upset I don't understand
I feel like I've done something wrong

It's my mother's birthday soon and I've asked her what she'd like to do but she doesn't sound interested in spending time with me at all I gave 3 suggestions today of things we could do together and she's pretty much said no to all of them...at least I'm trying

Were you close with your mom before hand?

The only time I heard from my husbands family this last time is if I made him call them to give an update. My best friend asked why I do that when they apparently don't care and it upsets me with them not even asking how our older kids are unless I make him call. I am done trying with them and waiting for them to realize hey they family too

@Lani yes I mean we've had our problems but I thought we were like best friends for the most part.....no she's not been the best mother to me but still...

I just thought things would be different
If she keeps acting like this my partner says she shouldn't be allowed to see the baby when it's here

I wonder if she's a little jelous that your baby is now your main priority and is distancing herself... or perhaps she's going through some personal stuff and does not want you stressing over it. Either way, I'm sorry that you are not able to share the awesome changes you're going through with her

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

New born

Finally had my baby girl via C-section on the 18th, everything has been so far. But I’ve noticed she’s very fussy and cries a lot. I’ve been trying to exclusively breastfeed. The lactation consultant at the hospital said I did look like I’m making enough milk for her. She was latching on good at the hospital and now here at home, she doesn’t seem to want to latch at all. She’s been crying a lot and very fussy. I’m just wondering is she’s colic or like maybe she just doesn’t want the breast anymore?

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣
