I just wanted to hop on here and share our Homebirth experience with our first child and daughter!
Labor started at 6pm, we quickly went into transition! Three hours into contractions being about a minute and a half apart I felt the undeniable urge to push! Our midwife wasn’t even on her way yet… my water broke and I moved to the floor. I pushed for maybe 15 minutes, I felt SO much pressure and felt the baby coming out.. midwife was still not there.. she walked in moments later. She checked as I pushed next, baby was breech!! I kept pushing and she was out a moment later!
None of us were aware she had flipped to the breech, but apparently had done so about a week earlier.
Talk about feeling empowered, ladies. We are SO capable, we were built and designed to have these babies!!!
Happy Baby Days! I’m so thankful to have had the experience I did, my husband and I are inevitably closer because of it all! 🩷

Love this! I had a similar experience with my third daughter being born a couple months ago. I transitioned very quickly and was crowning when we called the midwife to head our way. My husband delivered her on our bathroom floor and our midwife showed up about 10 minutes later. She wasn't breech but one push got her out and I wasn't expecting that at all! My husband and I are closer now too. Congratulations ❤️
