Any breastfeeding mums had a sickness bug while breast feeding? I’ve been up most of the night being sick - unsure if it’ll pass onto LO through my milk? And worried that I’ll need to be sick while feeding, unsure what to do if that happens

The advice is to keep feeding if you can as you’ll pass on antibodies through your milk that will hopefully stop your little one getting it. But obviously need to do all the things you’d normally do when sick i.e. washing hands frequently, changing bedding. Do you have someone who can help you today as you ideally need someone to look after baby and just bring him or her to you for feeds? And to keep you hydrated which is extra important

If you need to be sick you can take baby off and put them down somewhere safe. They will cry which will be stressful for you but as long as they are somewhere safe e.g. middle of bed with no sheets near them, then you know you are doing the best for them and although they are upset it’s fine in the long run.

Haven't had sickness but have had diarrhea, if I needed to I just delatched baby, put them in their next to me crib, went to the toilet and popped them back on when I came back x
