Why does my daughter not love me?

My daughter is 2 and I swear sometimes she doesn't want or need me ever. She needs her dad though. She fell off the bed and would not get back on unless her dad carried her into bed. She won't stop crying unless her dad is there. She won't go back to bed unless her dad is there. I don't know why she doesn't think im not caring or comforting because I stay home with her everyday. I just feel like she's better off without me because she never wants me.

I'm sorry you feel that way. Sometimes kids are like that. Maybe have her dad there and then you be the over to comfort her and maybe start there

I was my son's favorite when he was young, my daughter's favorite is her dad. We decided it was something biological, don't know if that is actually true or not though LOL
"Mommy's boy," and "Daddy's girl" must come from somewhere 🤷‍♀️

This is TOTALLY normal. I'm betting there was a time when she favored you over him. Usually when they are about 1, they favor the primary parent, then when they are about 2, they favor the parent they get to see less often because they miss them. I know it's hard, but try not to be too upset, just be there for her when you can and accept her favoring daddy for a little bit. She will grow past it. ❤

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.

How many words

Just a quick gauge of how many words your little ones are saying at this age. I heard by 15 months it should be 5 words, are most around this mark ?
