40 weeks tomorrow. Still no mucus plug show.

I think I’m going to be in your boat!! Have you had a sweep? I have one Friday booked in! Then at this point think I’d accept an induction if it doesn’t work! X

no nothing yet, I have a appointment with my midwife tomorrow, so I will see what she says! I was absolutely convinced something was happening yesterday, I had dropped even more to the extent it was hard to walk and getting cramping and then went to bed, woke up absolutely nothing 🤦🏼‍♀️ LO is far far too comfy in here 🤣x

I was the same Sunday. Convinced and then woke up and nothing and then was miserable for the whole day yesterday!! Although feeling better today, took myself out for a dog walk. Kind of feels like a waiting game now.
See I don’t even think I’ve dropped either. Too bloody comfortable!! Xx

I didn’t get my show until 12 hours after contractions started x

oh this is good to know! I think I’m just being abit impatient now but he will come when he is ready! Did you feel normal before the contractions started or any warning signs? X

40 weeks on Saturday and still nothing other than braxton hicks😂honestly if i don’t laugh i will cry. He is clearly having a time in there🫠

yes I feel fine to be honest! Minor pains but that’s about it!

Some people don’t have waters break until during labour, or never even see/notice mucus plug or waters 🤷🏻‍♀️ lost my plug around week 36, three weeks later and no bebe…

40 weeks 4 days! I’ve had aches and pains all night then nothing in the day! Hard not to get frustrated 🙃

absolutely same. I do feel pains when I stand up and walk but presume that’s because I’m so heavy and it’s just uncomfortable on my hips and back but definitely no signs he’s ready to come out!!

Same! I’ve had on and off period cramps, BHs are a bit stronger at night but that’s literally it! I’m debating what I want to do next or if I want to wait it out!

I’ve decided that I’m having a sweep on Friday with my midwife. If that doesn’t work I’m going to choose an induction. Wouldn’t have had an induction prior to the 40 weeks but I think once I’m over it’s more than likely I would be around 41 weeks by the time I’m offered one. I read so many bad things about them but I genuinely believe they are all individual!

What are your thoughts on sweeps/inductions? X

I just sent you a PM. I think I’m more open to a sweep than induction and I’m hoping as I’ll be over 40 weeks it may work?!
