Nope

Yes🙈 at least 1h. But sometimes he doesn’t when we are out and about and that’s fine too

I wasn’t ready to lose that hour of rest during the day 😅 I might need to replan our morning schedule, get her do active stuff so she is tired for nap 😴

I wouldn't get rest anyway as I have an older child. For me it's easier without a nap so on weekends we can go out for the whole day. Don't have to worry about naps.

Stopped 2 months ago

I think it will take some time to adapt 👀 she just started to go through the days without sleep recently, today we spend all morning in the park so of course she napped. Yesterday no nap and she was asleep by 7pm, this evening still awake and full of energy 😅

Nope - my boy stopped napping during the day about 18months ago! I was NOT ready for that 😂

Avatar

No, he probably stopped in July - some days I really think he needs it (but doesn’t want a nap!) but most of the time he doesn’t. Bedtime is earlier than before but I imagine that’ll change over time

oh wow, that so early 🙈 I need to be grateful for all this time😅

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.

Breastfeeding

Does it ever feel better? The actual feeding part of it is going really well and baby boy is growing so well. I’m struggling with how my boobs feel day to day - it’s really getting me down most days. The let downs make me feel awful and sounds silly but, I am also really missing not wearing a bra! 9 weeks postpartum and still getting fairly engorged, even with comfort pumping.

Any advice or just shared stories would help. I’m so torn between carrying on because I enjoy the feeding side of it or switching to formula.
