Sex pp

Anybody have sex too soon pp? Like before you were completely ready? I am about 2.5 weeks pp and was pretty much done bleeding(just a little extra mucus and very little spotting once or twice throughout the day). We had sex and it didn't hurt too bad(a little stretching feeling and kinda stung a little). Now after though I feel extra sore all over. I did have stitches in my labia since I tore in the front. I also noticed more bleeding afterwards when I cleaned up and on the bed. It didn't seem very heavy so I'm not too worried about it but just don't want to have anything bad happen. I guess I'm just wondering if anyone else had sex before they were completely ready. I should mention that mentally I was definitely ready since we generally have sex 4-5 times a week and had only been having sex about 1x a week towards the end of my pregnancy and nothing in the last month.

Even if you were cleared by your OB you definitely should wait the 6 weeks for your body to recover. You can cause permanent damage to your uterus… this will only prolong your healing process

Premature sex after my first pregnancy gave me an infection that turned into a kidney infection, which is a common enough complication to experience if you have sex too soon after birth. Definitely am not making that mistake again because that kidney infection had me in and out of the ER and made me feel like I was dying. Sex isn't worth all that mess. Your uterus isn't fully healed until 6wks due to the wound left behind by your placenta, so just wait it out. I'm currently 4wks postpartum and have felt totally back to normal since 2 days postpartum. I'm still waiting, though! Learned my lesson the first time 😆

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!
