Tight belly
This is my first moan since being pregnant it’s been pretty smooth sailing until now which I’m very grateful for but My belly has been so tight for the past few days but even more so than ever today it’s as if she has completely ran out of room I can’t even move her out of the way.
My bump still hasn’t dropped at 38 weeks today not sure when it’s likely to drop? but could do with it asap really struggling to breathe properly or get comfortable and cannot bend over more than just being sat up right so getting difficult to do most things now🙈
Had a second growth scan on Tuesday and she’s measuring at 8lb 4oz and Have a consultation appointment on Monday to review the scan due to her being on the larger side and my GD they’re not wanting me to carry past 40 weeks which is 28th September, do you reckon they will induce me or am I just getting my hopes up?
Anyone else in the same boat I’m just so fed up of being so uncomfortable🤦🏽♀️

My girl was measuring 8Ib11 at 37+4. We’ve opted for an elective C-section as because of our family history and her genetics there is a high chance she could well be in the 10Ib range at 40 weeks and I didn’t want to be induced.
I’m currently 38+4 and I’ve been getting braxton hicks so really tight tummy, my midwife says they’re not a sign of labour. X
I think it's likely they will offer you an induction date at your appointment. This part of pregnancy is notoriously difficult, tell them at the appointment you would like to be induced if that's what your wanting. I was induced with my first because I asked and said I'm not coping very well anymore and I can't keep doing this and they agreed and got me in the next day xx
Hi. I am 38 weeks 4 days and in the same situation regarding belly being tight, my bump hasn't dropped yet, etc. Even though it's difficult I still want her to come out on her terms and I am willing to wait until 42 weeks. If she is not coming until than I will ask for an induction. But let's see, fingers crossed.
