Opinions on the name Gabriel?

I don’t see it as a posh name. It’s nice though

Love it. I don’t see it as posh or religious. I think of a hunky Latino. Very hot guy name.

It makes me think of the angel but surprisingly doesn’t feel like a biblical name, like at all. Kind of like David, technically biblical but it’s taken on it’s own so much of its own life outside the bible that the connection feels irrelevant. I also don’t think it sounds especially posh. I do think it’s a very beautiful and usable name!

It’s a nice name. A posh sounding name is also not a bad thing at all

This is my sons name and I still love it 14 years later!

We've only ever had compliments about it.

He's now a 5ft 10, size 11.5 feet strapping lad. Into playing the electric guitar, films, keeping fit, colouring, gaming, drama and rugby!

We are not posh by any means, but he's a good lad and his friends all think his name's cool! We are not religious at all.

We've only met a few Gabriel's over the years. 💕

I think it’s a cute name. When I read it I thought of a little boy I used to take care of at one of my old jobs.

There are lots of Bibical names that people use all the time like Rebecca and Ruth. Gabriel is another one of those names.

Yeah I think of it as more Latin American than posh or religious... could just go with Gabe if you're worried though I know a little boy Gabriel and it's cute on him. It's not for me personally but wouldn't think it was weird or posh if I heard it at all! Do it if you like it xx

I LOVE this name but my husband hates it so we can’t use! Cry cry! But I know of a guy called Gabriel who gets Gabe as a nickname and he’s super cool

I love it but personally would prefer a name that’s slightly posh than slightly chavvy! lol x
