My induction for my first was great but I was induced with the drip as my waters had broken 36 hours previously and there was risk of infection to the baby. I had an epidural same time so I barely felt the contractions and he was out within 6 hours! The worst part for me was waiting the 36 hours for the bed with no sleep and then having to push on zero energy. I know it can be quite a long process so I would just say to take lots to occupy you, be prepared for the wait, rest if you can and trust you are in the best place for you and baby!

I'm in the middle of one right now & so far so good! I'm 37 weeks & have placental insufficiency with a little baby, I had a catheter put in my cervix yesterday at 3pm had it removed 24 hours later & my waters have broken but I'm still 1cm dilated so we're of to delivery shortly to start the hormonal drip, but so far so good xx

I was induced with my 1st and within an hour of having the pessary put in I was in full labour and she was out in 8.5 hours. You just don't get the build up of pain you go straight to the intense. Your a mummy, you've got this! X

I had an induction with my first, I had the pessary at 12:30 in the afternoon and my waters broke as I got into bed at 12am! Contractions started from then and baby was born unassisted at 18:23 the following day!
Best of luck!! X
