My baby girl will be one month tomorrow. I have to go back to work at the end of October or early November and we may have to put her in daycare. I just feel like it’s so young! I at least wanted her to be 6 months before we sent her. I want to be able to stay home with her for that time before we send her so we can bond. Daycares I’ve looked up where we live are all $2200 & up for one month! In my mind I feel like my partner should let me stay home with her and he just pays the bills instead of giving someone else that money. Am I wrong for thinking that way?

I’m having to put my baby in daycare at 11 weeks old and completely devastated. Where we live daycare’s a little less expensive. And both of us need to work to be able to pay for life in general. Plus, our careers are both just starting and I can’t afford to take years off. I am so so sad to be leaving him in like four weeks. 😔

This is exactly why I’m a stay at home mom. If I was to go back to work I would have been working for free/losing money and it was going to be difficult finding a daycare to work with our schedules because we need somewhere that we could drop her off at between 6-7am. Financially we are going to have a tighter budget but imo it was worth it so I’m not wasting my time with a job for no reward
same. I do need to work but I’m also looking to find a remote job so I can at least work and be home with her. I’m going to cry when I have to leave her I don’t even want anyone else watching her without me 😩
I wish I could be a sahm but it’s not in our card’s financially at the moment. Maybe in the future. Most of the daycares I’ve called are on a waitlist so hopefully I can at least stay home for longer. (I didn’t know I should have been looking for daycares while pregnant)

Yeah I’ve been on a waitlist for the actual daycare I want since like March and I’m not able to get in until February 😭😭 I had to find somewhere else for the 4 months inbetween

I definitely feel you.. I have to go back to work at the end of October and I don’t wanna put my babygirl in daycare. But I have no choice tbh. I wish I could be a SAHM.
I had no idea it would be so long! The quickest one is November/December. But I also wasn’t planning to send her to daycare so I wasn’t even looking at all.
☹️ we’re in the same boat. Fingers crossed for both of us
