Has anyone successfully done this?
I’m very against sleep training and cry it out but my baby is awake mostly hourly and needs rocking for usually at least half an hour each time. I’m exhausted, losing my patience and have no energy for him, and my back is agony. It seizes up most times I put him in his cot now. He weighs 11kg I can’t walk with him all night anymore. I can cope with the tiredness but I’m in a lot of pain now.
I know itl break my heart but I’m going to have to make a change. I’d like to still be with him, I do no want to leave him to cry on his own.
Any guidance please 😢

My little girl was always rocked to sleep now she's getting older I can rock her for 1 minute after her night bottle then I put her in her cot lay her on her side facing me and jsut pat her bum until she falls asleep. (She's now a front sleeper practically) so she finds it comfy. Defo still need to rock her for a bit now and then but never til she's fully asleep X

Maybe try the sleep training method where you sit on a chair next to the cot until baby falls asleep and then next days you move the chair further and further away? Good luck, I do hope you find a solution that works for you because you shouldn’t be in so much pain!
ahh well done. My little one sits up or stands and screams if I place him in his cot 😫
thanks ok so you just left him in the cot to cry but stayed with him? X
