Bedtime

So my 12week old sleeps though the night and has about 4 naps a day, he’s feed every 3.5/4hours in the day and i usually start bath and bedtime at 8pm so he’s usually asleep asleep by 8:45/9, he seems to always fall asleep at around 7pm and i have wake him up so would you start bedtime at 7pm or is that to early so that he’s asleep for 8? xx

My daughter is asleep about 7pm and will sleep through till 6.30 the next morning with one feed about 11.30. So could be worth trying his sleep earlier sounds like he's ready for it

Do whatever works best for you, we do bedtime routines around 9pm as that's when my 3yr old has his routines too and we're in bed around 10 most nights but don't wake until at least 7am. I'd class a 7pm sleep as a nap but that's just what works for us x

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.

Breastfeeding

Does it ever feel better? The actual feeding part of it is going really well and baby boy is growing so well. I’m struggling with how my boobs feel day to day - it’s really getting me down most days. The let downs make me feel awful and sounds silly but, I am also really missing not wearing a bra! 9 weeks postpartum and still getting fairly engorged, even with comfort pumping.

Any advice or just shared stories would help. I’m so torn between carrying on because I enjoy the feeding side of it or switching to formula.
