Any tips for baby with constipation? Baby is 10 months and been on solids for a while but isn’t overly interested in water (despite our efforts) and has been struggling to poo for a few days. Appreciate any tips!

Prune purée works well for us, we have had to give some this morning as our LO is struggling too. Xx

Baby massage worked wonders for our little one. She was on lactulose it was getting awful for her but took a course and honestly never looked back. Also if you’re struggling to get water into your little man have you tried adding some fruit or fruit purée to make it a little tastier? Hope he manages to go soon! 🤞🏼

⭐️ FLAX SEED ⭐️this was our absolute saviour. Freya was at a point she was screaming in pain when pooing. She also doesn’t drink a lot of water. She is now a regular bean after adding flax seed to her morning porridge. Have also added it to yogurt, potato, pasta if needed. I keep prune purée on hand and also feed kiwis. ❤️

Same, we also give prune puree works really well and I add fruit puree to her water sometimes too as she loves that. I've also found satsumas work for her too she loves them.

Hi! I’m studying baby nutrition at the moment and we find that one of the top contributors to baby constipation is dairy and consumption of brat foods (banana, rice, apples, and toast). Try reducing or eliminating these foods and see if it helps. Good luck!
