I'm 19 weeks, haven't felt anything. 2nd pregnancy

I am 19 and a half and I haven’t felt anything!!

Avatar

okay I know I’m not tripping because this is my second pregnancy to it’s a baby boy according to blood work and I’m barley feeling anything

Placenta is probably at the front cos mine is and my midwife told me yesterday that’s why I’ve not felt much and I’m 21 weeks tomorrow 🫶🏻

yes, I’m 20 weeks. I have my 20 week scan on the 26th of this month. I told the nurse I was concerned of no movement but she said at 20 weeks you don’t feel much so she’s not concerned. Only thing is, this is my second child and my first I felt movement by this time.

Nothing? Not even a small kick here and there? I’ve felt small kicks just not many. It’s not frequent at all

Avatar

😂😂 Same!! Every time I feel a little flutter I’m like “maybe I’m just hungry”

Avatar

This is my first and it’s a boy. I feel passes and sweeps and I’m at 19 weeks.

I’m 19wks and feel flutters and random pressure. I also have an anterior placenta and that can also make it hard to feel movements

Avatar

my dr said not to worry and we have up until week 24 to feel movement. I honestly can't remember with my first as it was 11 years ago, all a blurr lol. I did get excited a few times thinking I felt her but it was just gas lol 😒

I have my 20 week scan in a few hours and I'm anxious - they cancelled on me twice and I just want to know she's ok in there, esp with no movement

Avatar

Plus I'm high risk etc

If you have an anterior placenta it takes longer to feel kicks or movement

Don’t be nervous, everything will go great ❤️ wishing you the best beautiful

I'm 20 weeks today and I feel a good amount of movement every 2-3 days. It's very sporadic. It started as like little pops that I could feel and now there are stronger just very inconsistent. I have my anatomy scan Wednesday!

Avatar

I'm only 18 weeks but same! When I do feel movement I can't tell if it's the baby or the tacos I ate 😂 Every scan we get we can clearly see the baby is moving around like crazy. Still never feel it.

Avatar

same!!!!! They said mine was like an athlete in there 😂

Avatar

Me too! 19 weeks and nothing 😭 maybe a flutter every 3 days but I have an anterior placenta so I’m not expecting to feel anything for a while ugh

Avatar

I’m 19wks n gelt flutter like crazy yesterday. But it was in my backside. So idk if that’s normal.

Avatar

I have a few friends who couldn’t really feel movements till they were week 30. Baby was born at week 40, healthy💕

it varies, but your worry is understandale

Avatar

I’m almost at 21 weeks and I haven’t felt much either. I had my cellphone resting on my stomach the other day and I coulda swore it moved, but I didn’t feel it.

Avatar

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!
