Anyone else having this issue? I’m 33 weeks and measuring 35, due to height etc it’s putting me above the 100th percentile. I’ve been booked for a scan on Monday but it’s stressing me out that I might have a huge baby in there 🫣
My little boy was born on the 15th percentile so that’s a big difference…

I had my 34 week appointment and I am measuring 40 weeks! No scan or anything. She said they only worry if baby is smaller but will ask a consultant. She reckons I have an 8 pounder on board x

I’m the same, I’m 34 weeks and measuring 36 and I have a growth scan next Tuesday. The midwife did say that measuring with the tape isn’t accurate. I’m just hoping the scan shows he isn’t actually big. She said it may mean inducing me early or a c section x

I don’t think height matters too much in terms of pain pushing the baby out

im praying for your vag!
Measuring 6 weeks early is definitely a worry and usually anything more than 3 weeks they change your due date if I’m not mistaken?
It doesn’t sound very safe delivering a baby that’s supposed to be 40 weeks but measure 46 😅
I wish you luck 🍀

I’m a midwife and the measurement of your bump can be very difficult and subjective due to position of the baby, your own height and weight etc and sometimes the midwife doing the measurement. Even growth scans can be 20% out in the third trimester as it’s difficult to measure the baby. With my first little girl my growth scans showed she was 95th centile and she was actually 60th centile born. So please try not to focus too much on the numbers, unless there is any medical issue or reason ( such as diabetes ) that your baby may be too big , try not to worry too much about the size, I know it’s easier said than done though, just see what the scan says and it might not even be big xx

Is that just your bump measurement? They're so inaccurate so you really shouldn't stress about it too much. A growth scan will be more accurate. And it's nothing to worry about, just another chance to see your baby 🥰 x

This is currently happening to me as well. I went to my midwife today and she told me my bump is measuring a lot bigger than it should. I am plus size and I was told they would never measure my bump but here we are. I now have a scan to check babies tummy. If it’s big then I have to have another GD test x
