When buying maternity trousers what size would you get . Normally I'm a size 10 but none of my clothes fit now so do I order a 12 or 14 ?

If you're getting maternity clothes, you still get your regular size, they're just built for a belly. If you're just planning to size up, that's definitely based on comfort.

If it fits in your legs still but not bump you don’t have to size up but if you feel you’ve gained some weight on your body and not just “belly” area like some then size up maybe. What I do is get a measuring tape and measure myself to see what would work!

I’m normally a 10 so bought a 10 maternity but found during my second trimester I had to move to a 12 maternity. Depends how you carry I guess. I think I have a big baby 🙈

Thanks

I bought my size and it fit me well until month 6. I had to size up. Either that or only wear dresses

As others have said you should be able to just order your normal size. I found it handy to get a couple of non maternity clothes one size bigger than my usual as could where them for quite a while into pregnancy and then were the right size for straight after having baby. Xx

I’ve been wondering the same thing now that my trousers dont fit because the larger, roomy comfy bras i bought 3 weeks ago already don’t fit on the largest setting 🙄 I trailed sizing up to 12 maternity jeans yesterday but could feel them dropping after a while.. now i’m trying to look for nice trousers with stretch in part or all of the waist instead, so that they’re more accommodating 🤷♀️

I had to move up a size with most maternity items

I’ve had to size up because my hips have got so flippin’ wide and my boobs have got enormous!
