Anyone else still really small?

I’m 32 weeks but bump is still quite small. Someone actually said to me today ‘I was bigger at 12 weeks than you are now!’. Haven’t had any growth scans but apparently the fundal height is normal? Just wondering if I should book a private growth scan to be sure… my partner is 6’6 so I was expecting to be carrying a big baby 😂

I’m jealous 😂🫶🏻 You look fab! If midwife is happy, there is nothing to worry about!

It's probably where the baby is set, looks like the baby is at the back of you rather than the front. Everyone carries different. I'm all at the front!

Me I am measuring small from bump but he’s measuring fine at scan x

Me, me think I’m only 3 months pregnant and I’m nearly 35 weeks but I am having growth scans x

Completely depends on where the baby is. If they are sitting in your pelvis you won't show. Mine is currently sitting front and centre of my belly because I have a posteria placenta so I'm huge! 🤣

Avatar

I was small with my first but this one is bigger but she's now dropped so looks smaller again

Avatar

Wow, are you very tall? I’m quite short so I’m huge. I wish I carried like you!

I look really small too, my fundal height measurements are fine but I'm still going for growth scan due to my low BMI

Looking small can be how your uterus is positioned as well. As long as your dr says baby looks healthy I wouldn’t be worried !

We are all built differently. If the doctors/midwives are happy then you have nothing to worry about. I have the opposite problem, I get told daily by people how huge I am. Looking at your pic you look lovely and healthy. If your gut says get another scan just do it for your own piece of mind. Best wishes xx

If your midwife is happy I think it's fine. Everyone carries differently. You look great! There's a woman due the same time as me in my pregnancy yoga class and she's tiny compared to me. I feel huge but had a couple of growth scans and my baby is the size he should be.

Are you tall? I'm 5'11" and always carry small, my fundal measurements were always accurate though.

Im the same way its okay i was with 3 of my 4 pregnancies.

Yeah I would get a scan also to check on the amnionic fluid, sometimes it can be low

Thanks ladies! Put my mind at ease a little xx

ah thank you! Don’t be jealous though. The comments are annoying 😂 and I get jealous of ladies with big bumps

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!

Owlet

Anyone else’s owlet pi##ing them off ?!?! It goes off 5/6 a night saying it can’t get a reading and needs a snug fit. My baby is 8 months old so moves a lot. It is driving me insane and I keep end up taking it off!!
