Abdominal pain

Hey ladies,
Is anyone in a lot of pain in there abdominal area, which is interfering with every day activities?

Feels like cramps and little stabbing pains, woke me up in the middle of the night as it was so painful.

I though maybe it’s trapped gas or wind but no sore if this is Normal, I’m currently 8weeks pregnant.

I’m currently having the same… I’ve spoke to a midwife only 5+6…
They have advised me to come to urgent care, as might be dehydration adding to the cramps, I’m also having constipation and vomiting. The midwife thinks mine is HG so trying to get anti sickness tablets.

If your worries call 111 they were so helpful and there’s no silly questions when your pregnant!
Take care xx

I’m around 5/6 weeks and I keep having pain like cramps and I’ve read it’s normal but I’m not too sure. Hope you’re okay?

I'm between 4/5 weeks and am getting mild cramping but nothing serious and nothing that keeps me up at night etc. could be totally normal but ring your doctor / 111 if you're concerned - it's always best to get checked if you're worried xxx

I'm 8 weeks and I've been having a lot of cramps and bleeding, phoned my doctor and I'm going to the EPAU just to see if all is ok. Definitely phone your doctor and see if you can be referred to them.

I have literally been scrolling to see if this comes up! I am 6/7 weeks and have been having this on and off! More so at night. Went to the early pregnancy clinic yesterday and all fine re baby so it’s so odd as the pain still persists! Xx

I've had my scan this morning and everything is fine, so try not to worry too much about it xxx

I’m 7+5 and had similar pains! I was so worried but spoken to a few midwives who have all put it down to implantation pains and just generally your body changing/growing! Horrible though 😵‍💫

I’m so glad everything is ok with little bean so happy for you 😊❤️

I also had a scan today and everything was fine but still in pain but just normal x

ah its awful isn’t it! It’s reassuring air of us our going through this as our bodies are changing but still stressful x hope you’re ok though x

if you look up implantation pains it does describe it like tingling and a pulling sensation, so it sounds similar to what you’re feeling! The nausea is what’s knocking me 😵‍💫

Ah I feel a little better now we’ve been for an early reassurance scan! Hope you’re okay 💖

Avatar

yeah it’s defo the same feelings you are having too!

The nausea has been kicking my bum haven’t been able to go work for 2weeks now as I do 12hour shifts, hopefully hormones start settling in the second trimester 🙏🏼💕

I’m glad everything is ok with you and baby xx

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!
