My breast fed baby often goes hysterical in the car. She wants to be held or/and fed to be comforted. I give her a toy, and try to make sure she is fed, but she just goes so hysterical sometimes. It’s really putting me off getting in the car with her.
She’s 4 months old, and is clingy to me anyway because of the breast feeding. She only contact naps on both of us, but with the help of white noise when putting her down fed and asleep, she will sleep in her next to me if we are in the room with her.
Me and her daddy are sharing parental leave starting mid November and I’m very anxious about that too. Luckily I’m only going back 3 days until end of jan and I’m sure my employer will allow me to work half days. She will take a bottle reluctantly but I have to be out of the room, milk warm and be before 7pm.
Please let me know when it’ll get better and any tips for in the car or in general.
Currently sat with her on my shoulder asleep after I fed her to sleep and she woke up crying!!!! 🙈
