My cycle is usually between 28-30 days and today is day 30 and I’ve still not come on. We are trying, so I was hoping I was pregnant but did a test today, yesterday and the day before (which was a 5 days early one) but all are negative. I will give it another day before accepting defeat but just based on the fact I’ve not come on yet is giving me a glimmer of hope, plus I’m feeling little waves of sickness however that could just be psychological/wishful thinking!
I will wait and see tomorrow but just wondered if anyone else has had experience of having a negative result on the first day of their missed period.
I’ll add that the tests are the own brand from Boots, the little thin strips. I’d feel more accepting if it was clear blue 😂

I’m in the same boat! I also used the own brand tests from boots. I’m never usually late on my period, it doesn’t even feel like it’s coming at all! I tested on Sunday morning and it was negative

I tested on the Tuesday and was negative and then still felt like I knew I was pregnant and I had all the symptoms so tested on the Fri when my period was due and was 4 weeks!.
ahh it’s so frustrating isn’t it 😂😂 I hate this waiting part, if I’m not pregnant just wish my period would come already so I can be 100% certain
when you know, you know!! I am due on today but test still said negative though, so hoping someone had also tested negative on their period due date to give me hope 😂

Maybe wait a week and if your period still hasn’t come, splash out for a digital test. They’re more expensive but give a definitive answer

Yes both times. I’m a late show when it comes to tests. I test daily which dosnt help but have shown positive when or after period is due, that’s using early tests too! Don’t give up hope! ✨
Thank you everyone.. I did a test this morning, one clearblue one and another boots own brand one and the boots one still showed negative but the clearblue showed positive!
So my advice is to splash out on the branded versions as it appears more accurate (in my case anyway!)
