Accidental (indirect) impact to the belly 😥

I was fighting relatively mild nausea and exhaustion and zoned out yesterday during a physical therapy session, so I basically just said yes to everything the PT suggested during the exercise session with her. When we did the side medicine ball toss, there were a couple of hits to the upper abdominal region (belly button and above).

I stopped it when I realized heavy ball toss may not have been a good idea. But I also got cramps in the lower abdominal region when I went home and it lasted the past 24 hours. It's hard to tell if I was just gassy/constipated though - I was almost never constipated before the pregnancy, so I'm less experienced in how constipation would feel for me.

Called the OB, and the nurse didn't think a checkup was necessary today (my regular checkup is next week) because I'm not bleeding. I do have a headache for the first time since I got pregnant, which I'm worried about whether it's a miscarriage symptom. A woman at work said she felt like that when she lost her baby yesterday.

From your experience, should I be worried?

You would have started to bleed if it was a miscarriage. From my experience,
I believe you can have a headache during the miscarriage (actual process of it coming out or right before when cramps are too painful) but headache itself does not indicate miscarriage, you are probably just too stressed.
Only ultrasound can tell if everything is ok with the baby unless you have other symptoms, but hopefully everything is good.

I’ve had a headache almost daily and every appointment I’ve been told baby and I are progressing normally! Had issues with my asthma friday and went to women’s hospital, they checked me and baby and said I showed zero signs of miscarriage.

You should be early enough that your exercise shouldn’t have harmed baby!

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!
