Split nights

My lo (8m) has always been a poor and low sleeper, wakes several times a night and has a built sleep association with feed 2 sleep which I am currently trying to work on.

I was already sleep deprived but now we’ve gone from 1-2 split nights a week to at least 4?
I really need some help on how to support the split nights to end. Im wondering if he doesn’t get enough daytime sleep but I don’t know how to encourage longer. We used to have 10-20 min cat naps (contact) 3 times a day with a struggle. Now we have better daytime naps total 1.5-2h in his cot. So daytime is less of a struggle I thought but something isn’t working 😭

Please help a tired and burntout mummy or give me positive stories if you have experienced this and it was not regression related.

Have you tried Huckleberry? It’s not perfect but my baby’s sleep is definitely better than it was. I literally never got more than 40 minute naps in and a few weeks after paying for the sleep analyses she was sometimes doing 2x 90 minute naps and didn’t wake for the first half of the night (she’s often woken up every hour)

The four month regression is so hard …

For the last three weeks my baby girl who was now 14 weeks has only an hour wake window. She needs rocking to sleep for daytime nap which takes anything from 10 to 20 minutes. Then she only sleeps for 30 minutes at a time she’s crying all day because she’s tired. The only time she’s not crying is at night time when she’s getting a decent sleep She cries so much it’s hard to take her anywhere and I haven’t wanted to take her anywhere because she can’t sleep without it being in the car or the pram but there’s times so she’s just so constant. I’m not even dressed to take her out anywhere. It’s been hard the last couple of weeks and it’s been worse than the newborn stage because she hasn’t settled even with being cuddled and held …taking her into her garden has worked a few times …I hope this phase changes as it’s so challenging had a bit of a cry today …

Autism

I have been noticing everyone I know that as a boy 2-5 years has been diagnosed with autism. Has anyone else noticed this or maybe I’m just noticing this out of concern for my 10 month old boy.

How often is your baby waking up in the night?

My baby is 5 months old and waking up every 3 hours. Some nights he could do a 4 hour stretch and some he would do just 2. It’s a bit all over the place to be honest. Is it normal for so many wake ups at this age? What is everyone else’s baby doing?

How do you cosleep?

I know all about sleep safe 7, the dangers of cosleeping etc etc, but there seems to be a huge difference between online and people I meet in real life. Most people I know report cosleeping, but online its villainised more.
No judgement here - I'm just genuinely curious what people are actually doing!

Comments if its something different.

Our baby has her own cot. She sleeps well in it until early morning and then only sleeps if shes on/next to me. I'll also admit to having fallen asleep breastfeeding several times (no lectures, she's safe - but other people have said they've done the same).
