Anyone else gone over there EDD?

Currently 40+3 still impatiently waiting x

I’m 42+1 today and opted for daily monitoring, having induction Monday if nothing happens. I’ve accepted 2 sweeps. First one unsuccessful second one was successful but cervix is still high up and closed but lost bit of mucus today 🤞🏻

41 today, but keeping quite chilled about it because I'm convinced my due date isn't actually until Wednesday

Yes I’m currently 40+3 and have declined everything to date. I might consider a sweep at 41 weeks but hoping he comes in his own.

i didn't know we could go over 42 weeks because the midwifes and doctors made it seemed impossible. i had 2 sweeps booked and and induction but have contacted my midwife to cancel all... she hasn't replied since yesterday. wish u all the best xx

same! before i had my 12 weeks scan and when i put my dates in online it said my edd was in october but the scan showed september.

consultants and doctors were pushing me for na earlier induction and sweep because of "babies weight". even tho they admitted it was difficult to measure babies weight on scan.

The scans are so inaccurate. At 12 weeks I was 70th centile, 20 weeks I was 32nd centile and 36 weeks I was 47th centile, so in my mind I think my due date is more accurate because I know when baby was conceived because I had flu when they say baby was conceived 😂😂😂

Aww thank you and yeah if your low risk then the option is there. They did say there are risks which is why it’s just a case of balancing them out so I decided to not let myself go too far over xx
