34+6 weeks so over having constant Braxton Hicks. They’re so uncomfortable, my normal pregnancy belly is super hard anyway but braxton hicks literally feel like my skin is about to split open!!

Have lots of water. Mine used to be very intense if I was thirsty even a little bit.

I’m well hydrated. I think they’re more uncomfortable because my skin is already soooo tight as I’m all baby & hardly any water

I'm exactly the same. Very little water and my stomach feels like it's going to explode when I have Braxton Hicks.

literally feels like my skin is going to split, I honestly have no idea how I don’t have any stretch marks with how tight & stretched my skin is. Agonising!!!

How have you found keeping your belly bar in ? I really don’t want to take mine out - I’m only 20 weeks xx

I took it out with my first, this time I haven’t bothered. The only issue I have with it is it doesn’t lay flat as my belly button has really popped😂 I’ve had it pierced for 14 years so if for some reason it falls out or rips I’m really not bothered lol. I also find the pregnancy belly bars really uncomfortable lol x

same! So far none at all. Although I've read that some people literally develop them right at the end so we shall see.

What does it feel like? I've been getting what almost feels like period cramps - but that's not Baxton Hicks right? Like I would know it when I feel it?

braxton hicks is just when you belly goes very tight. It uncomfortable but never painful. If you’re having actual cramps it’s best to contact either your midwife or maternity unit lovely x
