I’m 40 weeks, been having Braxton hicks since 35 weeks, been cramping since week 36. no show, no water, nothing at all. Just pains and cramping. I am so tired. I am scared of induction pain. I just want to meet my baby. Been to the hospital, they keep saying all is well, no contractions, cervix closed. Have someone been here?

Yes you can , I had contractions to begin with until eventually my waters broke xx

When I was 38 weeks I was throwing up and having very consistent contractions so I went to the hospital but it was just braxton hicks and I was only 1cm. I was induced at 40 weeks and the labor contractions were very different than braxton hicks. With induction your water should break naturally and you will loose your mucus plug. Everyone is different but when I was induced at 12pm I was in labor for 8 hours and got an epidural at around 6pm and gave birth at 8:16pm. I progressed really fast.

Yep! I went into labour at 41+2 weeks with my daughter. I didn’t loose any mucus plug or have a bloody show just regular strong contractions. My waters were broken for me after being in labour for 32 hours. Baby was born after 40 hours of labour.

I started contractions two days before my waters broke and my plug went. The plug came away with the water breaking.
Contractions and Braxton Hicks feel very different. I got a lot of BH throughout my pregnancy. Every time something touched or put pressure on my stomach.
