Hi everyone! I’m currently 14 weeks pregnant. When did everyone start getting a baby bump? I’m so excited to be pregnant and so far we have a healthy Bub but I just don’t feel pregnant yet haha I’m sure when it gets further along

I’ll probably regret saying that haha but I just wanted to know what everyone else’s experience was. Thanks!

I started to get a bump, a real one after 30 weeks. I kept taking bump pictures xD and there was nothing there it was quite funny now that I think about it, by the end I had a massive bump

Avatar

Oh wow! 30 weeks that seems so far away haha
Awww cute! I haven’t taken any pictures yet because I don’t have a bump I just feel bloated and fat 😂

Avatar

I was like 25 weeks before I got a bump! Everyone’s different though x

Avatar

Probably around 20 weeks x

Avatar

Around 20 something weeks it became a bit more obvious. Before that I just looked a bit chubby!

Avatar

Nothing noticeable until around 24 weeks!

20 weeks

Mine didn’t show up till about maybe 24 weeks and it was super little and still fluctuating in size lol I didn’t start actually popping till 28+ weeks

Avatar

After 26 weeks

Avatar

Mine started showing around 12 weeks but I feel it was only really noticeable for me, I still had people asking the day before I had him if I was pregnant

Avatar

Thanks everyone!! Looks like I’ll be waiting a bit longer 🙈😂

Avatar

For me it was noticeable early, but for everyone else probably between 4 and 5 months

I was so bloated in the beginning, it's a bit hard to say when it started to turn into a bump. I felt very visible at around 16 weeks, but nobody noticed and looking back at pictures, well, I was flat :-D people started noticing around 22-24 weeks, firstly barely dared to ask... at about 30 weeks they stooped asking, just congratulated :-D

Avatar

I'm 25 weeks and probably look like I've just eaten a big meal 😂

Im 17, I was super skinny (I was underweight) so people have only noticed my bubb about a week ago (30 weeks now) I noticed at 17 weekz

Avatar

My bump came through kinda early I guess after reading these messages started showing at about 15 weeks. Currently 17 weeks and definitely more noticeable because people now willingly offer me a seat on the train but they weren’t 2 weeks ago 😅

Avatar

1st pregnancy about 26 weeks, current pregnancy I'm 21ish weeks and definitely have a bump already

Avatar

I didn’t get a bump until 25 weeks

Avatar

About 14 weeks my bloat rounded out. A noticeable bump 18-20 weeks.

Avatar

I had some serious bump envy because mine didn't start showing until I was somewhere between 6 and 7 months 😩 but I'm 8 months now and all belly lol. I don't know if it's because my babygirl was underweight in the beginning (I was heavier before pregnancy and lost almost 40 pounds with my morning sickness 😱), or what. But I love showing off my lil bump now hehe

Avatar

I didn’t get a bump till 28-30W🫣

Avatar

It was hard for me to tell because I bloated a lot in early pregnancy so I usually wouldn’t look pregnant in the morning and I would in the evening. I’d say my mornings and evenings started matching up around 18-20 weeks or so.

Avatar

Third trimester with my first

Avatar

I had a started to get a small bump 16-20 weeks and then popped at 20 and had a noticeable bump from then on!

Avatar

I'm plus sized, and I felt huge but I'm only 7 weeks 🤣 and very bloated my stomach looked a lil bigger

Avatar

Im in 14 weeks too. Due date 4/4 2024. I look a bit preg caus i already had 4 children. Guess my body remembers 😝. Otherwise you start to show at 20 weeks. And you will feel the reality of the pregnancy when you see your baby move in an ultrasound, and when it sarts kicking and turning…

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!
