I know my baby has had slow weight gain but haven’t really got anything to compare it to.

From 3.4 to 7.2 kg, so a bit more than doubled, he’s 4 and a half months
Mine has gone from 4.5kg to 6.8kg, also 4.5 months! 😢

3.6kg to about 6.5kg. He’s dropped from the 50th percentile to the 25th percentile but the midwives said not to worry as long as he’s looking healthy and happy… babies are all different with the weight gain

Also I read that breastfed babies tend to gain more in first 6 months and after that it’s the other way around. But honestly I wouldn’t worry about it if he’s healthy and happy
mine is breastfed! 😩

8lbs born and now at 15.1lbs, he’s just under 5 months, he dropped from 50th to 25th centile but they have no concerns. I am working on seeing if I can get him back up but I feed on demand and let him lead me

If you’re feeding on demand and he’s not hungry, there’s not really much else to do and you’re doing great! Also weaning is just around the corner, that might bring a change too 😊
that’s what I thought. He’s grabbing everything I eat when I am holding him so hopefully he will enjoy his food! The consultant did say a while back (when he was on the 50th centile), don’t worry about graphs, he has a double chin so is doing just fine!
My concern is that he’s so long which probably doesn’t give a true representation of his weight in comparison to other babies (99 percentile!).
