Any mamas working overnight?! If so how do you manage it!? I might take a manager position working 9pm-6am 4 days a week just so I am able to get health benefits for my babies and I 😭

I did it for the first few months after baby was born. It helped to be able to alternate with my husband. I would sleep 6:30am-2pm while he covered the daytime then he'd go to bed at 10pm while I worked and we both got 6+ hours of sleep. We eventually needed daycare, though, because my husband couldn't work and take care of baby the whole time but we kept the same schedule.

I worked 12-8am and 11-7 for 11 years. It worked the absolute best for our family. I felt it gave me the best chance to raise my children myself. My days off were Sunday and Monday the entire time. The first kid was easy lol, she played safely and quietly, breastfed and would get milk and hang out as she pleased. The 2nd is a boy and was required to be locked in the bedroom with me , because he would explore and do experiments otherwise 😩😂. I figured a schedule to sleep from 10-1 with them. I got 3 more hours of sleep before work when my shift was 12-8am and just 2 more when my shift changed...but by then I was used to it. I took a nap on my break at work. I'm currently preparing to return to 3rd shift with babe #3 and I'm praying she is like my first baby girl lol. Weekends when hubby was home allowed me to get a longer uninterrupted sleep. It worked for us.

I'm praying I'll be able to handle it! I'm only worried because I have depression and anxiety, but I think once I get a routine down I'll be okay ❤️
