Is 7 months regression a thing?

My LO is just over 7 months and is hating sleep. We have a routine, same as always and she now cries throughout the night for her dummy. From 4am onwards she is hysterical unless you sit her up. Ive tried goving her abottle wondering if shes hungryxand shes not really bothered.. She's just learnt to army crawl. Could this be it?

We are experiencing the EXACT same thing!!!!! She hasn’t learned to crawl just yet. X

Same thing and I don’t know why? Not crawling yet

Mine has decided 6am is time to get up. 😩

Any tips? It's the screaming in the night. Honestly I'm exhausted x

Same here, waking up hysterical crying - never done if before! Only way to stop her is bringing her into bed with me 🤷🏼‍♀️ (not learnt to crawl yet though)

Avatar

Same here!! Always gets to 4am and so unsettled, still tired but just needs me to sit with him and hold his hand to sleep, as soon as I let go he’s awake and upset again 😂

Same my boy is 7 months and has started doing this for the past week or so, from 2am onwards, he was sleeping so well before that, it's draining! 😫

Avatar

OMG same! My LG is back to waking up every 2-3hrs. I think it's a mixture of sleep regression, teething and trying to master crawling. Hoping this phase passes soon. Xx

I just don't know if I should leave her until she tirers herself out as if I try and comfort her it makes it worse.
Our day time routine for naps is well off. Anyone got a good routine going still? X

exact same , holding hands … the moment I leave he is awake

My little one is the same, waking all the time sometimes hysterical! And naps are all the place some days as well!

lol I was about to ask the same question at 3am this morning! She’s gone from sleeping 10-11 hours (before 4 month regression) & 8-10 hours (after 4 month regression) to now waking up every 2-3 hours for pacifier and once every night for feed but won’t go back to sleep after that. She just wants to play! Last night she woke up by 3, had a mini feed & didn’t sleep until 5 am 🥴 Her daytime naps are a hit & miss too! She’s not teething yet but is good with crawling so not sure what’s happening?! I NEED some sleep 😫

So my little one has just turned 8 months and we had this about 3/4 weeks ago. It lasted for roughly 2 weeks and then she went back to normal! Really bizarre but I did read that there is a 7 month regression as they're learning lots of new skills and they just want to master them 🤦‍♀️

Avatar

Well I feel better that I'm not the only one now! Although 4am felt very lonely haha.
Hoping it's a 2 week thing @Stacey xx

Avatar

Same here! We've moved back to co sleeping so we can settle her a lot quicker before she wakes up properly 🥲 xx

Avatar

Same here! So tired but he doesn’t sleep 🙈 x

Avatar

Could be early 8 month regression!!

Avatar

They do tend to have sleep setbacks when learning/ having just learn a new skill. Also 7-9 months is common tor sleep to go a bit haywire! Could be teething as well at this age

Avatar

Wow I feel better knowing it’s not only me.y little girl used to be a great sleeper and now she keeps getting up with the most awful cry from 12.30am and it’s very hard getting her beck to sleep. Initially she’ll refuse a feed and if Rick get back to sleep then the moment i put her down she’s screaming again and this can go on for over an hour before she finally has a feed then goes back to sleep. I really hope this ends soon. I’m absolutely exhausted 😩

Vanilla extract

Has anyone used alcohol free vanilla in their babies formal to help them drink?
I’m 100% sure my baby refuses her bottles as she doesn’t like the taste of it!

Just anxious to try it, don’t want her to get used to it and then refuse bottles again after two weeks of using (correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve read you use it for 2 weeks max)

TIA 🙂

Do men really enjoy fellatio?

Been together more than 10 years, but it's been a while since he even seemed remotely interested in me getting on my knees, or vice versa so to speak. I think it was once last year. Must be something I am doing wrong 🤔. Generally everything else in that department is great and we have two young kids with no extra support, so it's quite surprising we can't keep our hands off each other but may need to try new things. It's basically 2 positions each time with some foreplay.

Car seat crying

My 6 month old PANICS the second I put him in a car seat and screams, cries, chokes and recently even projectile vomited on a 14 minute drive. It’s gotten to the point I don’t even bring him out unless it’s to a doctors appointment. I’m a stay at home mom with no family in my state and it has been very isolating. We’ve tried 3 different car seats with no improvement. Has anyone had a baby who hated the car seat? Any advice? This started at 3 months. I will add it does seem worse when he’s tired. He does cry on every trip though. He only contact naps and co sleeps so he reaches for me and will not sleep in the car seat.

Sex post C section

Hi ladies I’m 4 weeks 5 days postpartum and I had a C section. I’m not bleeding properly anymore just some brownish discharge stuff that starts on and off. I’d like to do the deed with my partner; is it okay to do so or shall I wait the full 6 weeks. I feel up for it but also worried because the advice is 6-8 weeks.

My boyfriend booked a trip for us to go to mexico for a week as my push present. I have severe anxiety leaving my 7 month old with my mom. I know she will be in good hands but she’s exclusively breast fed for the most part but accepts bottles just fine. i have all my pumping parts packed and will pump when baby normally eats but i don’t want baby to forget me or have latch issues when i return!! any mommas ever experience this?
