We are TTC and have been for a number of years, we had a MMC last year but not much luck otherwise.
My workplace has quite good maternity benefits (6 months full pay followed by 3 months statutory) but I hate hate hate working here.
In any other world I'd 100% leave the job but I know that even if I found a job with equally good benefits, I'd have to pass all of the probationary and waiting periods to qualify for it so that would delay tbings further. I feel that it's just one more unfair thing that TTC has thrown at me.
Not really sure what I want to get out of this post but just wanted to vent and see if anyone else is in the same boat as me.

Sorry that you hate you job so much hun, but I do think if that's the case the stress from this alone isn't good for you especially during your TTC journey. I would personally find a better job that you're happy in so you feel better emotionally, you can't just stay somewhere for the maternity perks if you're miserable 😖 To be entitled to maternity pay its usually 26 weeks, which is 6 months. You could take those 6 months to focus on a new job, and do some fun things with you partner and enjoy yourself before you pick up TTC again. Focusing on your mind and happiness in those 6 months would help you come back relaxed and ready for TTC again and then hopefully it'll happen for you 🌟🌟 Obviously it's your choice, but something to think about. @Lucy thanks for your insight into this. I have spoken with my manager and hopefully changes are going to be made so I'm going to ride it out until at least the new year then, if there's still no luck on the TTC front I think i might have to take your advice. Xx
