Hey guys, seeing so many kicks and movement posts and I’m much further ahead (due March 1st so probably the furthest ahead out of most in the group) and I haven’t felt a single thing 😢. My bump is also really small. I’m 19+1 today. Any reassurance of mamas who have had this before with another baby would really help put my mind at ease xxx

I’m having my first so can’t reassure about previous babies but I’m 18 + 2 and not feeling movements yet! I’ve read people say it’s between 16-24 weeks so I’m not worrying yet, have seen a few people say they didn’t feel anything until after 20 weeks x

This is normal! Lots of first time pregnant parents don't feel anything until 20 weeks and beyond. Bear in mind that people are more likely to post in this group if they have felt something than if they haven't, so we might be seeing a skewed sample. If you haven't felt anything by 24 weeks, then you'd want to talk to your midwife, but that's a way off.

Also good to remember that it might feel very different to what you expect - I thought the movements I've been feeling were little muscle spasms at first.

Due date buddies 💞💞💞 my midwife said ‘anything between 16-20 is a bonus’ so please don’t worry. Completely normal xx

Adding that it might not feel how you think it's going to feel! I'm 18+3 and for the last week or so I've been feeling baby as little twitches. It turns out I'd been feeling that every now and then for a couple weeks, but I didn't realise because everyone else I've spoken to says it feels like gas or flutters! If I had been looking for twitches I'd have noticed it way sooner 😊
yeah I guess I’m just over thinking it, just hard coz so many post about baby being very active and kicking and stuff and mines is so not like
That xx
that’s a really helpful viewpoint actually. I never thought about those posting vs those not
love it 🥰🥰 could be a leap year baby too if it’s early!!
unfortunately I’ve not even felt that xx

Hey x I’m 18+3 I haven’t felt anything yet 😢 My bump is quite big already. Finally I don’t look like bloated anymore 🤪

I was due on the 1st of March but measuring ahead 3 days so due 27th of February, the movements are very very subtle at the moment and won't start getting stronger for another few weeks, they say if you haven't felt anything by 24 weeks then to contact your midwife

I’m on my 4th am feel stuff my friend on her first and dosent thete is only a week between us and she has no movements yet an she’s ahead of me I think when it’s your first it’s harder to find what to look for and feel for xx

I'm also due March 1st, not feeling much at all, sometimes I feel I get something like a flutter. My belly is also almost none existence and at times I wonder if im pregnant at all. Worried a bit but just got to wait till 20week scan.

21 weeks for first movement with my first and pregnant with my second 18 weeks and no movement yet! Completely normal. xxx
