Hey! My baby just nursed this morning on my right side not the left so after I changed and burped her ( circa 15 mins after I stopped feeding her) I pumped on my left side. I only got an ounce out of it tho which seems to be little to me (my baby is 6 weeks old and previously I would get around 2 ounces per side)

It is normal to get 0.5-1oz per day pumping in addition to nursing all day, so if you got 1oz in only one session this great! Perhaps baby ate more from the left breast than usual at a previous nursing session, leaving less available to be pumped. If you prefer to pump 2 extra oz per day, you should be able to get to this if you do 1-2 more pump sessions today. But I wouldn’t worry, it sounds like you are making plenty!

Pumping .5-2oz of breast milk is normal. Pumping is not an indicator of your supply. You’re doing great mama keep up the feeds. And keep pumping every 2-3 hours.

As others have said! Pumping is not the same as what your baby is getting x
