Keeping up with baby's appetite

My child has consistently been eating 4oz every hour either breast milk or formula. I produce about 2oz every 3 hours and have tried everything to produce this much. Is it even possible at 4 months to produce this much?

I would like to know this as well. With my 10 week old he can drink 5-6 oz from a bottle, but when I pump during a bottle feeding i only get 2-4 ounces. Is my pump on the wrong setting?

My daughter did the same thing. Now during some of her feedings especially before bed she will eat 8 oz

I think there’s ways to try increase your supply like hydration etc but the main thing I would also check is that the flange size is correct, the pump is a hospital grade one and the parts don’t need replacing xx

I've experienced this and had luck w below settings to increase my supply:
- drink water before and during
- start with highest massage setting (60 / 5 on mine) and maintain for 2 mins
- at 2 min mark, switch to express setting highest level (48/12 on mine). Do this for 8 mins.
-at 10 min mark, switch back to massage (60/50)
- ar 12 min mark, switch back to express, but a bit lower setting (42/12 on mine). Maintain til 15 min then done

You'll likely run out of milk early in process, but keep going, this tells your body to make more

Pumping output is ZERO indication of what baby can get out. Some women cant get any milk out pumping but have ni supply issues. Its also hell of a lot easier to get milk out of a bottle than the breast so babies tend to keep chugging on a bottle. Trust your titties is what i always say 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤣🤣

She eats from me and then is still hungry. Sometimes her mouth will hurt so bad she can only do bottle

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

He use to sleep through the night now he is waking up every single night in the early morning, I've had to transition him to a toodler bed as he kept climbing out his cot. Just need some advice on what I can do to help him get back in to a sleep pattern?

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

6 month old autistism

My 6 month old makes no eye contact with me and doesn’t respond when I call him. Can this just be a phase or personality trait as apposed to autism

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣
