Second c section scar

I’m thinking the same … first scar you can barely see and it’s lovely 🥲
I’m due to have a second section next week and worried I will get an over hang and it will look really purple and butchered

I’ve not had 2 sections (yet!) as I’ve only just had my first - but from being in a c section group on Facebook I think the scar can originally look worse to start with as they tend to be more purple and slightly messier, but over time they heal to look the same as the original one ☺️ there is lots you can do to reduce the appearance of a scar as well! They go in through the same scar.
Mine doesn’t look much different now at 10 months pp, it definitely did to start with though

nope. It was a bit raised to start with but not anymore

Mine is so much neater the second time around!

I’ve not had a second (but will), my obstetrician said it’s through the same incision and they actually remove any keloid scarring from the first and neaten it all up x

My mum (RIP) had 3 c sections and she looked slim and there was a faint white line you could hardly see at all. No overhang at all. She used to wear bikinis when we went to the beach and looked fab. She didn’t do any diet/exercise she just ran around after 3 kids under the age of 5 which kept her trim

I’ve jus had my third and they did do the same scar for me
