Saw it pop up as a suggestion on wonder weeks, has anyone tried it yet? Tips please.
I used to do a bit of road biking pre conception, and I wouldn't cycle on main/busy roads but I'm thinking for country roads/lanes.

How old is your baby? I've been biking with mine since she was 5 weeks old ❤️❤️❤️ at this point she's 6 months and I still "wear" her on the bike. I use the lille baby all season carrier bc it has good neck support so when she falls asleep I put the neck support up (she prefers to look around when she's awake). But I'm already getting ready to put her in a bike seat once she's a bit bigger (9 months or so).

For a bike seat I want her to ride in the front, so I bought the Thule Yepp Mini.

I also heard a mom complaining about her kid's neck slopping too far forward when she fell asleep in the bike seat so I got this to help support baby's neck in bike seat https://www.sandini.de/SleepFix-Kids-BIKE-Outlast-anthracite

You can put the baby bike seat on any bike but if you're in the market for a new bike I've been looking at this https://www.gazelle.nl/bloom#pim_itemcolorcodeonergb=207%2C211%2C184&pim_itemgenderframe=Laag&color=color-ivory-white&frame=low or this http://www.bsp-fietsen.nl/fietsen/familie-fietsen/la-dolce-vita/

The main features that I think make it baby carrying friendly is: 1) step through frame, 2) more space for baby bike seat up front, 3) front handlebar locks so front bike wheel doesn't tilt from side to side when bike is parked, 4) a nice wide super stable kick stand so baby can be on bike without causing bike to tip over while parked.

That said, you can put the bike seat on any bike!

I love this question and the responses.

Thanks ladies you've all been so helpful, my little boy is 7 1/2 months now xx @Erica those were some great points to look out for, especially the bike stand, I hadn't thought x
