Reduced movement

I found this with my baby at 38 weeks, every time I thought I’d call triage he’d have a bit of a wriggle. I did eventually ring them though just for reassurance.
It could be he’s just running out of room and so doesn’t have the same space to move as before but it’s still best to ask triage if it’s starting to worry you

I was the same yesterday, baby is usually very active all day and they weren’t moving as much as usual, they were still moving but not as much, I just called triage and they put me on a monitor and baby started kicking away
If ever in doubt just call them, they would rather you go in to be checked out and everything be fine rather than not be checked at all and something be wrong xx

I had this around 35 weeks, I went to hospital and they put me on a monitor and as soon as they did she started kicking away like crazy 🙄 they said next time before calling to drink something fizzy and lie on my left side for a bit, if nothing after an hour or so to call and go back to be monitored again, but I’ve never had a next time luckily! If in doubt always get checked, they said rapidly increased movement can also be a sign of distress
