So I was wondering you know how babies are always swaying their hands every where while breast feeding. What if they touch your lips and you have hsv1 (oral herpes) but there’s no outbreak. Is that okay or should avoid them touching your lips ?

It's possible to transmit through saliva but much less likely than if you had active symptoms. Hope that helps.
What if there hasn’t been any saliva on your lips ?

I think you should be fine mama. I understand the worry, we worry over everything right? Just keep an eye on your little one, but I doubt if it was a quick touch and your lips were dry that the baby would pick it up.
