Hi, I had my baby 4 weeks early and he was born in September. He spent 10 days on NICU, and had quite a traumatic delivery. My baby doesn’t sleep. We’re having to do shifts, just so we get some sleep, my husband is due to go back to work in a few days and I don’t know how I will cope. We can share the load as he’s off. My baby just doesn’t sleep. He won’t go down for longer than 20 mins, he’ll only sleep on me, but I can’t co sleep, as I am terrified of SIDS. I just don’t know what to do, I could deal with the wake ups and night feeds if I got longer than 29 mins rest. Is anyone else in the same boat? Or have any advise?

I’m cosleeping with a single duvet on a double bed and baby next to me with his own blanket. Would you feel safe doing that?
Me and my partner also do shifts. I sleep from 8-1 (baby is given a bottle in this time) and then my partner 130-630. This then guarantees we both get 5 hours sleep.
Xx

Maybe try a portable bassinet in the bed? They’re great for co sleeping without having to get out of bed to get baby, yet they have their own area to help with the anxiety part. This is the one my husband and I got:
