Waking/ partner rant

My lo has not been great for a few weeks now at night I’m currently sat in the front room holding her while she sleeps cause she will not settle and it’s been over an hour she’s not even really settled on me keeps jumping etc..so yeah that’s mum life no sleep tonight for me sitting on the sofa it is..
What’s annoying me the most is my partner telling her to shh cause she was moving in her cot and making noises she wasn’t crying or babbling just making little noises as she does when she’s trying to sleep. Like how is shh helping her it isn’t he’s laying in bed moaning cause he can’t sleep and has work etc but I’m the one up and trying to soothe her on my own I’m not going to have no sleep for the rest of the night just so he can sleep and then I’m looking after her all day on my own exhausted from lack of sleep for weeks!
I’m going back to work in three weeks and I just sit here and think I’m still going to have to do all this on my own even though I’ll be working..long working days with no sleep
He’s just really annoying me right now! It’s not even my lo it’s just his whole perception and lack of help.. he had a day off yesterday and he was the one who still slept in like he does every other week
Anyway rant over
Have a nice Sunday all 😊

Oooh I know the feeling, we had a bad night on Friday and my partner eventually helped at 4.30. Then he got to sleep in until 10am, when I was up at 7. Then last night he said he'd get up with her through the night. And then get up with her in the morning so I can lie in. He slept through all the wake ups and is still asleep while I've had 4 hours sleep. He'll wake up and say why didn't you wake me 🙄 but if I say anything I'm the bad guy 🤷‍♀️

I feel you with that.. mines the same I get the why didn’t you wake me.. what’s the point when I’m already awake and have been for half an hour trying to get her back off
They always twist it lol

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.
