I decided very early on that I wanted to combo feed and only pump with formula. I did not want to breastfeed for a number of reasons but my supply is dropping like crazy.
The first time I pumped I got 4 oz out of each boob. Now, I’m barely making 1 oz COMBINED and it’s sooo discouraging…I really feel like giving up. My daughter is almost 3 weeks old.
I’m pumping for 20 mins on each side, using massagers, taking the liquid gold supplements, etc. I just don’t know what else to do.
Is there any hope of me increasing my supply or should I just call it a day and exclusively formula feed?

I’m having the same issue I’d pump at least 2-3 ounces before now I can barely get one and it’s sad bc it makes me so sad and I do formula and pump I also don’t breastfeedbut I’ve tried a few times it’s just hard and. I don’t wanna give up but it’s hard so here for advice too I guess and to let u know ur not alone

I feel you. For the last two days I’ve been “power pumping” (literally just learned this term lol) I would pump for 20 take 10 min break then pump again for 20. And I do this every like 1.5-2 hours. I haven’t noticed a change since I just started doing it but I’m hoping for the best. Although, I did just get about .5 ounces more in a 3 hour period than I did yesterday so we’ll see lol

I breastfeed. My midwife told me to only use the manual pump if I needed to. I waited a month to use a regular pump, and I haven't seen any dips in supply. I wonder if not using one helped 🤔. Now both boobs makes 3-4oz about a session and I find it comes out more when I do it while she's eating. My LO is currently 6 1/2wks. Plus skin to skin while she's eating.
