Hi all, I'm 41+1 week pregnant and had a sweep at 40+3 and another at 40+6. At 40+6 my cervix was favourable (bishops score of 9) and midwife was very positive that I wouldn't need my induction on Tuesday. I'm feeling deflated as despite having lost some is my plug, mild contractions and cramping, it all seems to have ground to a halt. Has anyone else experienced this and still gone into labour naturally? or had a sweep be successful over 24 hours later? I know everyone says 'the baby will come when it's ready' but being on this side it is really tough when you're so uncomfortable! Thanks

Edit: 41+1 day pregnant**

There is still time! The good news is, even if you do end up going for induction, it sounds like they'll be ablento break your waters straight away with no pessaries, gels or balloon required. Once that's done you can always ask for more time to see if you labour just from that before starting the drip if you want it. You could also delay induction to 42 weeks if you want to. X
