C-section

Does anyone have experience having a baby sooner than the guidelines? I had an elective C-Section in March. Think I could be pregnant and wanted to hear people's honest experiences. Either vbac or repeat section!

I got pregnant 7 and half months pp and now 37 weeks I got highly advised to have a repeat C-section as risks for vbac so I'm booked in 23rd for one x

is your pregnancy going well so far? Is there pressure on your scar? X

Yes i had my second baby just about 18 months PP and i am pregnant again, due 14 Months PP.

The chances of uterine rupture is very very small... dont let everyone's scare you into thinking you must have a Csection. VBacs are still possible prior to the "18month recommendations" depending on your conditions etc. I highly recommend looking up SUCCESS stories of VBACs prior to guidelines....

Its very rare we hear the success over the horror because very little people discuss the good... the bad is what gets attention. If you want to try VBAC dont sell yourself short of atleast looking into it and seeing what would be best, also if you chose induction, please read the POSITIVE induction stories as these are also hidden in the crieves of the horror ones.. it helped me alot ❤️

I would recommend checking with your OB. My OB said she’d be comfortable with me getting pregnant around 8-9 months post partum if I wanted another C-section. However, if I wanted to try for VBAC, she said it wouldn’t be safe to try before 15-18 months post partum.

My first and second pregnancies are 18mo apart. My second and third are going to be about 17-18 mo apart as well. I honestly was never interested in pushing so c-sections worked for me once I had my first one. As you get a bit bigger you may feel tenderness around your scar but not everyone feels that. Mine comes and goes but is never painful. I honestly recovered much quicker with my second and even went to my babies first pediatrician appt by myself cause I was feeling so good
