It’s only at night, and she is sound asleep. Sometimes it’s so loud it makes me jump and stop and starts for hours. Keeps us awake 🙈

Yes constantly from the wee hours onwards

I’ve got the white noise on quite loud to try and drown the sound out lol

Yes every night and don’t hear a peep out of her in the day

Omg that’s reassuring I’m not alone. I said to my partner surely this isn’t normal haha it’s like she’s straining or not happy but she is soundo!

Oh wow this is my little girl and I really worry there’s something serious wrong with her but I’m told it could be wind….? So glad it’s not just us. Does your little one feed and wind ok / bring any milk back?x

This is the same with us 😭

Sounds like she needs a burp

Yeah, it's surprising how loud newborns are 😂

this is how I felt too . Oh really . She feeds well, burps after. Sometimes brings milk up but not every time normally if she has too much. She’s mainly BF. She farts quite a lot when passing a 💩 but she rarely goes for a poo in the night or during sleep x

This is really normal for newborns it’s because their gut is maturing and makes them really noisy! It threw me off so much when my first was a newborn but used to it with number 2. White noise helps drown it out a bit 😂

phewww, might give my other half some ear plugs so he can sleep for work the next day haha x

this is really reassuring ❤️ thanks for sharing x

Yep mine sounds like a farmyard animal constantly

Literally every night but she is fine during the day 😩 so so tired 😴😴

Our little girl does this. It’s trapped wind apparently . Now we wind the crap out of her before putting her back to sleep and touch wood she hardly does it now 🤞🏼

I spend over an hour a night winding our LO and she still does it 😭x

Yes newborns are noisy 😂

My 5 week old does this every night! My now 4 year old was the same, but I can't remember when she grew out of it. I do wonder whether it's wind but I think it is their immature gut and it's a case of trying to block it out until they grow out of it! Thanks for sharing x

All the timeeeee

It’s to do with active sleeping as well they can’t stop themselves from doing it they grow out of it eventually my nearly three week old does it just when he’s quite he starts never here it during the day just at night am so so tired he had a night last night were he just would not sleep but he hadn’t really slept in the day either so don’t get how he did nearly all night off and on either
