When did you go out without baby?

I cannot bring myself to do or go anywhere without my baby girl. I wasn’t like this with my first, but my anxiety has intensified with postpartum and I can’t shake it off. I haven’t even gone to the nail salon because I don’t want to leave her 🥲

Am I the only one? When did you first leave baby?

Any tips? I know deep down this is probably not healthy lol but I can’t help it.

Start day by day. Maybe going out just for 15 min and increase it from there!!!

Me and my partner left the baby with his mom last night and once last week for a few hours over night I was abit worried but I had fun

ok I’ll definitely try little by little. That seems more achievable 😅

My little guy is 4 months now and the longest I’ve left is for occasional 2 hour stretches (for a workout class, pedi, grocery shop), and he is only left at home with dad. Neither of us are ready to leave him with someone else to go out just the two of us. We love our third wheel. ☺️

He came to our anniversary “dinner” too! He passed out on the boob and we enjoyed the extended nap (we went at 2pm 😂), mom had dessert AND a decaf espresso martini.

I am currently feeding him and soon to be nap-trapped, wondering if I’ll have time to paint my crusty nails tonight (yes, it’s sadly come to this!).

I just started with him in the carrier or stroller walking to stores nearby like target or vons or even just around the apartment when he got older I started taking him to places like the park, we play loud or adventure playground

I left my baby girl at home with my sister for a date night (1.5 hours lol ) first time 2 days ago and I was on the phone with her nonstop 🤣. You definitely are not alone

When our daughters are grown

Are we teaching them that circumcised boys are dirty and unclean?

You’re at the check out and notice the cashier gives you senior citizen discount. You’re very clearly under the cut off. Would you be excited for the extra savings or offended?

Turns out Monday morning at my Kroger and the lady slipped it in without saying anything. This has happened to my mom before and we were both obviously happy with a random discount but one of my sisters in law said she’d die if that happened to her because she’d be so embarrassed 😂

Something you’d never buy second hand?

What is something you’d never buy second hand and can’t believe people do. For me it’s clearly very worn shoes or mattresses🥴

Childcare Funding help

So my LO is under 2 and goes to nursery 2 full days a week. Me and husband both worked and got the 30 government funded hours. However my husband has recently lost his job of 8 years due to the company going under.

The worst part is he lost his job the day before I gave birth to our second child. So now I'm on rubbish maternity pay and he's got no earnings.

I'm wondering if we still entitled to any funded hours or not? I just don't want my LO to lose his place as obviously my husband is trying to get a job and when I go back to work we will need the childcare.

Has anyone been in this situation? Is there a grace period? Tyia!

Marriage struggles

Can someone who has had bad marriage problems before and gotten through it message me? I feel so alone in the situation I'm in and can't talk to my family about it and my unmarried friends are no help. Saying "just leave" is not helpful. If you can relate please comment so I can message you. I just really need either advice or just someone to talk to. Thanks 🩵

Has your child(ren) ever made an unauthorized purchase on one of your accounts?

I left my son to watch tv alone in my room while I switched the laundry over and not 2 minutes went by before I got a notification thanking me for a 1 year peacock subscription of $116.

Luckily Roku refunded me and I’ve since added a pin but now I know it really is that easy for kids to make quick and expensive purchase without us knowing.
