mums without mums 💔😪

Anyone else no contact with their mum or other family members? It is so hard and isolating, I wish I could have had that perfect family, my baby should have grandma and other family!! I tried so many times to fix it and to deal with my mom and at least try to stay cordial and ignore her remarks but my mom was always so overly dramatic and mean to me, she even said I’m not her child anymore and to not come around for holidays about 4 years ago because she didn’t like the guy I’m with 💔😪 Our relationship was always strained since I was a child too..

Distance

Why is it that when I’m swiping to find friends (within a 15 mile radius) it’s showing people over an hour away… I live in NWI and it’s showing people all the way in Chicago. Like cool I’m open to talking but let’s be honest I don’t wanna travel to Chicago to meet up with someone or have them travel all the way here! Why can’t it just show me people near me and be done with it?

Fed up!

Is anyone else just finding this stage really, really hard? The tantrums, the not listening, my LO is fully in their hitting and kicking era. I get told I’m a good Mum but the point is that my LO doesn’t make me FEEL like I’m a good Mum if that makes sense? I took them out this morning and I felt like everyone was watching their behaviour. I looked around and it felt as though every other Mum/toddler was having a lovely time. I ended up cutting our trip short as I had enough and cried as soon as I got in the car. I find it easy to open up and to speak to friends about how I feel, but the hard bit in that is I find very rarely do I get met with ‘yes we’re going through that too!’ I feel like there’s such a thing with people wanting to make out things are perfect rather than just being honest!
