Anyone still have a difficult/ crying baby?

Hello

My little one is now 11 weeks and I thought she'd be better by now. She still cries a lot of the time she's awake, needs to sleep every 1hr-1hr 15 and just absorbs all my time and energy?

Appreciate she's still little but I thought there would be longer periods between naps now and that she'd be happier?!

Yes, here😭. I heard of the term velcro baby the other day. I hit a point where I just accept it.

What helps me is slinging her. I also try to go for a walk once a day for my own mental health.

@Bilan yeh she's only happy in the sling when she is asleep though 🙈 Think she's just quite an unsettled baby. Also have a 4 year old which makes it so hard!

So glad this isn’t just me! He’s like a koala, has to have constant contact for naps (which he is not keen on at the best of times), anything past late afternoon, he has just had enough & is fussy and aggy until bath&bed come around! (even that takes some convincing and a lot of tag teaming!)

Yes!! I was really hoping it might have started getting better now too. Mine wants to constantly be held, even at night too, it’s exhausting

I've been doing a lot of work on naps at the moment and it's not always perfect but I've noticed she is a much happier baby when she is having a nap every 1.15 - 1.5 hours and I'm trying to ensure each nap lasts at least 1.5 - 2 hours.
She would often nap for just 20 mins and I learnt that newborns take at least 45 minutes to go through a complete sleep cycle so anything less than this isn't restorative sleep so now I try and keep her naps longer and it's made such a difference to her x

@Monique yeh I get mine to sleep every 1.15hrs or she is worse. Her naps are still only 20mins I keep rocking after but no luck extending them. How did you do it?!

Did you know this was a thing?

Didn’t know this existed! I’m actually not breastfeeding 2nd time round (though wish I did) after a bad experience with my 1st baby. But this is something I 100% needed 1st time round.

Screeching baby

I have twin boys, 5months.

One is very quiet

The other... is like a pterodactyl who screeches when bored, tired, hungry, as soon as he wake up to be held etc...
This habit has only just started!

Has anyone else experienced this and how long did it last?
So far it has been about 5 days 😭😭😭😭

Joie Signature Parcel LX lightweight stroller

Has anyone got this stroller? Up until now we have used our mamas and papas ocarro and we love it. However we are going on holiday in June and looking at a lightweight stroller to take with us. I'm not bothered if it fits in overheard locker, I would rather have decent wheels on the stroller and this one does have slightly bigger wheels than most travel strollers we have seen. Has anyone used this stroller abroad or got any other recommendations? TIA x

Fighting naps

Does anybody else feel like they spend all day trying to get baby to nap? I get tempted to give up as he must not be that tired but he is too cranky to play or do anything else!
