One nap?

Is anyone else's little one on one nap yet, I feel like it is getting a struggle with getting two naps in now?

I was just going to post this and ask the same 😅 for the last 2 weeks mine will now just have 2 hours after lunch, bed time hasn’t been affected. I’m pretty sure they say 2 naps for a few more months but there’s no chance of that with us x

I was going to say that I read somewhere that they will start fighting naps but they still need 2 at this age, I'm fighting with my little one everyday to get 2 in, even started waking him from naps, bedtime is like 9/9:30 for us now 🤣 x

We are on one nap, he turned 1 on the 26/09
As soon as he started nursery (before he turned 1) they were struggling to get him down for 2 naps so it ended up 1 instead. We just kept it that way on a weekend.

Can be a struggle at night to stretch him out to bed.

Mines been having one nap for a couple of months now.
Just one long one around 11:30-13:30 and sleeps around 11 hours at night.

We are on 1 nap
12-2:30ish
Then goes straight through to bed at 7:30/8

when do you do lunch?! We’re trialling 1 nap today, went down at 11:50 and still asleep at 14:07. On 2 naps, lunch was usually after waking from first nap, around 12:30/1

My little one had milk and toast before he went down at 12:15
He is still asleep now
He should wake soon and thats when I give him another snack or small lunch (around 2:30) x

thanks so much, can I ask how old your LO was when you transitioned to 1 nap?

Literally when he turned 1 in September
He never slept long on his 2nd nap anyway and plus he sleeps longer through the night now 👍🏻 xx

This gives me hope 🙏🏼 we are really struggling to fit both naps in, fighting 2nd nap big time and not going down too happy for 1st, so hoping todays nap wasn’t a fluke!! Thanks so much

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Bath Time

Help! My baby is 3 and a half weeks old. Every bath she goes in quite happy but will only stay like this for a very few mins, if I try to clean her or move her we have tears and after a few mins the same. It's like she is scared. Our current baby bath is quite big should I try a different one? Looking for any suggestions as want her to enjoy bath time not be upset and I'm scared I'm going to make her hate it😢💗

Crying during feeding

Hey mams! My girl is 6 weeks on Monday and is having so much trouble with feeding. It doesn’t happen every feed but more often than not she will start a bottle and just start crying as if she’s in pain and she can’t take the milk. I think it’s trapped wind but I genuinely don’t know what to do it’s so pitiful to see her not be able to feed! She’s formula fed and on HiPP Organic.
Anyone else been in this position? I’m pretty sure it’s just a bit of trapped wind that she needs to fart out but can’t! If anyone has any advice I’d be very grateful as I think I may need to tape my eyelids open soon 😂

No more naps! 10 month old

For a few days now my 10m old has fought her 2 daily naps. Normally her wake windows were 3-4 hours and she is now eventually napping after a 6 hour wake window. Today was only one nap, she skipped the second one. Used to nap like clockwork so I’m wondering if anyone else is experiencing this? Also very unsettled most nights and doesn’t sleep well at all
