Has anyone else experienced this or have any advice?
My son is exclusively breastfed and will be turning 3 months on Tuesday.
He usually feeds about every two hours during the day.
However over the last couple of days he has been refusing to feed for long stretches during the day. For example yesterday he went 5 hours without a feed. When I tried to feed him, he wouldn’t latch and would fuss and cry, getting himself really worked up.
When he did then finally feed later on, it was a completely normal feed and he fed as normal for the rest of the evening.
He is doing the same today and has refused to feed since 12. I’m having to express now as my boobs are so engorged and painful!
Is this a nursing strike? Will it pass on its own or anything I can do?!
He is otherwise completely fine in himself, no temperature etc

Try optimise the feed by doing it away from distractions x. Keep offering, it’ll be a phase. Used any new fragrance?

I had this with my little boy at 3 months he refused to feed for 7 hours! I tried all sorts, syringing/cup feeding a bit of expressed milk to take away hunger helped a bit. He fed perfectly fine during the night it was just day time. After 2-3 days he was back to normal feeding. No idea why really. He could perhaps be teething and in a bit of pain. Is he still getting plenty of wet nappies?

He seem to be back to normal feeding today thank god!
They like to worry us don’t they 😅

We’re 3.5 months and have this. Literally sees my boob and screams even before I try to feed him… day 2 of this but he is teething
