did you have pain relief x

Yes my induction was over the course of a week starting 6th October with a pessary that softened my cervix followed but the balloon then on the 13th called in had my waters broken waited 2hrs then started the hormone drip took gas & air but eventually stopped working as the hormone drip makes the pain go from 1-100 had an epidural at the point cervix was still only 2-3cm so had a c-section at 4am on the 14th I suppose it depends on your pain threshold I have a high tolerance but it was a lot xx

oh dear I had to choice to go for c section but I chose natural if I can , that sounds like what my sister went through last year hers never went further than 3cm she had to have c section in the end I think the idea of a c section frightens me but whatever will be will be,
Is it the case that you may go in to get something inserted to then get sent away? X

with the pessary I wasn’t allowed home so stayed in for 36hrs but was sent home for 24hrs with the balloon catheter in as was sick of the hospital. I was also offered a c-section due to him measuring big but I choose to try natural first xx

same , my boy is apparently measuring big too so I’m wondering what the weighing will be. Isn’t it very painful with c section the after effects xx

it’s painful once the meds have wore off they try and keep you topped up but especially the first time getting out of bed and walking I found holding him tough as well as he’s so big xx
